Peter-Lukas Graf

Biography

Peter-Lukas Graf is nowadays the doyen of internationally well-known flutists. Along with winning the first prize at the Munich Competition,he was appointed the youngest ever principal flutist at the Winterthur and the Lucerne Festival Orchestra. After a decade of mainly conducting operas and symphonic concerts, he has been a professor in Basle. The USA National Flute Association honoured him with a Lifetime Achievement Award. He received the title doctor honoris causa by the Music Academy of Cracow(Poland). From the Italian FALAUT Association, he received the premio di carriera flauto d'oro.

Músico versátil y baterista de gran trayectoria, ha acompañado en presentaciones nacionales e internacionales a artistas como José María Napoleón, Cristian Castro, Yuri, Gloria Trevi, Ricardo Montaner y muchos más. Ha participado en teatro musical con obras como Víctor Victoria y Mentiras, el musical, además de aparecer en series como Luis Miguel, La Serie y La Casa de las Flores. Con 23 años de experiencia docente, es coordinador en The Contemporary Music School y maestro en la Escuela Alternativa de Música. Actualmente, es artista Yamaha Drums México.

A gifted trombonist, conductor, composer and arranger, world-renowned musician Wycliffe Gordon grew up in Waynesboro, Georgia in the United States. He was musically influenced at a young age by his father, Lucius Gordon, a classical pianist and teacher.
